Brandon Trachman, PT, MPT, OCS
Brandon is proud to be born and raised in Altus, OK where he graduated from Altus High School in 1999. He received his Associate's Degree in Biology from Western Oklahoma State College in 2001. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Brandon went on to pursue his Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2007.
Brandon is a devoted member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2004. He is currently a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of ATPA. In 2010, he was named as the State Government Affairs Chairman of the OPTA. As Chairman he assists in monitoring and advocating for Oklahoma laws to insure patient's access to quality physical therapy care. Brandon annually attends APTA sponsored State Government Affairs and Federal Advocacy Forums where he represents the OTPA advocating to legislators on issues relating to physical therapy.
In 2011, Brandon earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification from the American Physical Therapy Association demonstrating advanced skill and education in the area of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Brandon continues to pursue clinical experience in spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and manual therapy.
Brandon currently lives in Oklahoma City and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. He is a "Cubbie", being the biggest Chicago Cubs fan this side of the Mississippi River, and also enjoys outdoor activities including, snowboarding, wakeboarding, cycling, and running.
Devin Vassella, DPT
Devin Vassella grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma with her parents and younger sister. When she was younger, she participated in competitive cheerleading and dancing. She attended Duncan High School where she took on multiple leadership roles and lettered four years as a member of the dance team. After graduating in 2008, she moved to Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma - boomer sooner! Devin graduated with special distinction in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. Her favorite memory is receiving her acceptance letter into the OU physical therapy program on her twenty-first birthday. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014.
She has been an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2011. She currently serves as the Student Liaison for the OPTA as an elected position. She attends annual meetings and makes campus visits to promote APTA/OPTA membership and relay information regarding APTA and OPTA functions, including social and business events. In January of 2015, she began her Manual Therapy Certification program through Evidence in Motion, where she is advancing her manual skills with future educational plans to become Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Her areas of interest in physical therapy include outpatient orthopaedics, sports injuries and rehabilitation, manual therapy, and pediatric therapy.
Devin currently lives in Oklahoma City. Her hobbies include early morning workouts, reading, spending time with friends, and going to the lake. She is a certified advanced open water scuba diver and loves traveling to dive in different locations. She also enjoys volunteering to provide physical therapy services at local sporting events throughout the year, including the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, Redbud Classic Marathon, the Endeavor Games, and Corporate Challenge.
